The first time I ever flew in a plane I was 5 years old, and I swear instead of the vaccum flush that most plane toilets have now, it had some kind of blue liquid in it instead.

I slept most of that flight because I was quite little, but the next time we flew when I was nine, I was amazed by the little TVs in each seat back. The old IFE where you had maybe 4 films and 3 TV channels to watch.

I had to take the batteries out of my Furby on one flight as it could interfere with the captain! I was so upset as it meant he would reset and would lose all of the tricks I'd taught him to do.

Me and my mum and dad went to Florida in the 90s and we flew to the US with Virgin Atlantic and having our own seat back TVs and just watching loads of films and things all the way there.

We went back in 2002 and took my older sister, her young children and my cousin. I remember really excitedly telling my cousin about how good the entertainment was etc on plane. I didn't realise we were flying indirect via Cincinnati (I believe it was) with a random American airline (can't remember who it was) and the only entertainment was a drop down screen! We were all split up on the plane (Luckily I got to sit with my cousin) and we were soooooo bored!

we flew to Antigua just after one Christmas , our 2 youngest had Furby's , I suspect the other passengers may have liked to have had your captain on that flight

See I don't remember them being annoying!
I still have it, I wonder if I stuck batteries in if it would work?

It was a cool Halloween one, bought from FAO Swartz in Pointe Orlando. Showing my age here
