Thank you! I can't wait to go dress shopping, and I'm so tempted to just go out and buy those shoes now just so I can have them, but the lady we spoke to in the bridal store I'm going to start in said they can do good deals on accessories if you buy your dress there so I'm going to try my hardest to wait!

The Cake
As you all know we get a cake as part of the Escape package... I love the drapped cake and the scrolls cake - Im' not a huge fan of fondant icing so I would prefer only buttercream, but we'll see how that one goes!

I want to use the blue of the orchids as the cake accent as well, and I don't think the orchids will go very well with the draped cake, nor the scrolls...

But I found this

I love how this is simple and understated, while still making a statement, of course with all the green bits replaced with blue, and a 2 tier version. I'm hoping that this wouldn't be too much more on top of the standard Escape cake range - even if it is i secretly don't mind

When it comes to flavour, Paul loves chocolate but not chocolate flavoured things - so I was thinking both tiers vanilla cake, one with white chocolate mousse filling, the other milk chocolate mousse filling for me

Thanks Shirley! I can't wait to go dress shopping, and I have seen those shoes in real life and they are just amazing! Paul can't understand me wanting to spend £300 on shoes but i'm going to wear those things with jeans afterwards!

We were watching Don't Tell The Bride last night, they are looking for couples for next year's season, after a lot of debate we've decided not to enter hehe - I have full faith in him he would plan an awesome wedding, not to mention he could just come on here and read my journal to know what I want anyway hahaha but with family so far away it really wouldn't be possible - but how much fun would that be!

Hiya Tabz, fab start to your journal, time will fly and you will be there before you know it. Your plans sound lovely. I tried on a few calista dresses, and they are nice but charge a lot because they are selling to larger ladies like myself. I prefer no 4.

Looking forward to more, take care xx
