Just seen on Facebook they are dismantling the top of the Castle in preparation for Dorian.
I don't remember them doing this for Irma, am I wrong?

Sue they didn’t but Irma changed course so quickly and rolled right up the 27 and took all our pool screens out and across the streets ancient oak trees fortunately they all fell away from tje homes

Helen, Irma took our fence out and imploded our pool heater but we were very lucky!

We were there for Irma it was a pretty unforgettable experience, we were like a comedy film bucketing the pool before checking with pool guy and finding out we could reverse the pump. We had roof damage and a couple of screens so were also lucky. Looks like the new roof is about to be tested.

I really feel for you home and Villa Owners. Such a worry when these hurricanes form. This will be our third.

Me I am just back from Publix and bought the essentials for our survival.

1 loaf of bread
1 slab of water
2 bottle of Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc.

Sue DH was out on his own his big issue he had to cancel a few games of golf
And oh a couple of the pool screens have popped 28 in total he slept through the lot
But I got
Where are the wind up touches radio are there any disposable BBQ in our cupboard oh and matches where is the spare gas for the tail gate BBQ
What do I do about flushing the toilet are we like at A&A they live near Ayers Rock
I’d if it yellow let it mellow if etc
Fill all the plastic buckets with water etc
He survived came home sporting a beard that was promptly got rid off

I survived Irma with wine and caramel M and Ms. I actually wish we were there, I feel so sorry for our guests, almost guilty in fact.

Tom I’ve emergency supplies in our owners cupboard our current guests are all prepared they have bought 2new jigsaws and Lego and the essentials they’ve done this all before
They will bring as much into the house ie patio furniture fling the tables in the pool the reason we have the pipe furniture bring in the trash cans etc and follow all advice
