Clearwater beach vow renewal
We're renewing our vows in February next year at Clearwater beach.
We are using Kissing Fish Weddings as they offer a lovely vow renewal package for only $175. I was hoping for fairly quiet beaches at this time so we would not feel daft being watched by lots of people. But they've told me that Jan-march are the busiest times at the beaches. Although this doesn't bother me too much, I won't let it stop me going ahead and booking, it did surprise me a little. We are staying at pier 60, anyone been to the beach in Feb and got any insight as to just how busy it is. |

Hi,
Please let us know how the experience with "Kissing Fish" is. I am also interested in using them for vow renewal at Clearwater. Many Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry I hadn't noticed your post, I've not been on here in ages. All looking good so far, we go in four weeks and Lynda has just emailed me with a choice of ceremony options. Can't wait now! Will let you know on our return. |

Hi, all.
Well we're back so thought I'd update you. kissing fish were great, as I said before it was all really simple, Linda emailed 2 ceremony options which we chose from as we didn't want to write our own vows. Bill, (Linda's husband) took photos throughout the ceremony as our package included 10 candid photos. Which we have just had emailed to us although they were happy to send a dvd if we had wanted them to. The bamboo posts we requested were lovely. Basically for £160 total I think we got a great deal. Ours was pretty simple as we just wanted to re-exchange our rings and had no other requests or services like sand ceremony so can't comment on any of the extras. All I would say is don't pick Clearwater unless you going in the summer and can pretty much guarantee weather. The 2 days we were at clearwater were 19th and 20 th feb which for anyone out there at this time will know were the coldest and windiest days they'd had in years so the beach was deserted and all the entertainment was off, it was like a ghost town. Also don't go to pier 60 hotel as I thought the service there was truly awful. I'm not gonna go into it further as I wanna forget the bad stuff and just remember the ceremony which was just what we wanted. |
