Esta application form says my UK phone number is invalid.

Hi, I'm trying to fill in my esta application. I'm in the home address and employment sections, but it won't accept any of phone numbers, it keeps saying they're invalid. There's a separate box for the country code with a drop down, so I've selected +44 UK. I've then put my phone number in the next field. I've tried all formats, drop the leading zero, no spaces, I've even tried adding a 44 at the front, but all formats are rejected.

Where am I going wrong?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It done that with me and dh phone numbers I just kept putting in our correct number and it popped up saying are you sure this is a number I clicked yes and it went through.

I think I put the phone number of our first hotel in Florida? I might be complete wrong though, was a year ago I did them lol

Minne18 you were right. On the 3rd time of pressing "next" it put a check box above the section with the error, allowing me to manually confirm the info was correct. I found the same thing later on in the form with the hotel address. All sorted now and esta's approved.
