Booked Virgin tickets with miles - question on APD
Very happy with my booking so this is more out of curiousity than a problem as such: Flying PE and on government website it says APD is £156 each but on Virgin tax breakdown it says £172. How can Virgin charge more and label it as APD tax? Its a difference of £64 for our 4 tickets.

The APD is due to increase to £172 from 1 April 2019. Looking at your countdown I would think that is the reason Virgin are charging that amount.
