Flights
I am thinking of doing everything seperate for the 1st time ! Just want to know when i should be looking for flights in sept 2019 /oct 2019 ... and where exactly do i look ?
Also do u have 2 pay for the flights as soon as u book them ? It all seems very daunting ! |

If you book flights 'only' then yes you pay the full amount when you book but if you book via Expedia, Netflights etc with car hire then I believe it is classed as a 'package' so only deposit is needed at booking.

Thomas Cook are reasonable at the moment (Man to MCO 21st Sept / NYC to MAN 12th Oct has been hovering around £435 to £470).
We are waiting for the full scheduled airlines to kick in, so we won't be booking until at least the end of December. |

Trying for More Ears
|
We've just booked 5-19th Sept with TC from Manchester for £430pp return, although we did pay more on top to reserve specific seats with the rest of the party.
Norwegian from Gatwick are the same price (and you get free seat reservation) but for us Gatwick is a pain to get to. We could have tried to hold out for a better price, but I think the best advice I was given is once you see a price your happy with - then take it before it's too late. |
