Help
I've found what I think is a good deal for next summer holidays but have a few questions:
direct flight out to mco from Gatwick , but indirect flight via Miami to heathrow on return. Will leaving and returning to two different uk airports cause any issues? we will be using public transport to get to and from uk airports. Connection time at Miami is 1hr 4o. what happens if Orlando flight is delayed? it is a holiday booked with BA so will they automatically put us on the next flight? Car hire is with Avis booked as fly drive with BA. will there be any additional insurance charges? Many thanks xx |

I can’t answer all your questions but ...
Arriving and departing airports doesn’t matter. If it’s booked as a package then normally BA would sort you out if you missed the connecting flight. And can’t answer about the insurance on your vehicle hits as we book hire and have a annual insurance for covering us to drive hire cars abroad. |

No issue with the airports. They will put you on the next available flight which might not be the next flight.

BA Avis flydrive includes all necessary insurances. As above no issues with the different airports. They will sort you out with another flight should you be delayed, as they have a partnership with American Airlines they will have the option of one of their flights too should that happen.

Flying in and out of different airports isn't an issue (unless you have a car parked there - which you won't).
In fact as you've seen it can often be a way to get cheap flights. |
