Daytona Beach Hard Rock Hotel Proposed for 2016

inline imageA proposal to bring the legendary Hard Rock vibe to the iconic Daytona Beach shoreline is currently in discussion and the property slated to open surrounding the 58th Annual Daytona 500. Its synergies are synonymous with the destination– incredible hospitality, and a great affinity for live music, entertainment and special events.

Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach will feature 250 guest rooms, 100 tourist accommodation units (6 month stays or less), two rock star suites, Body Rock® workout facility, Rock Spa®, a pool complete with a bar and grill and the world- famous signature Hard Rock Cafe. Meetings guests will enjoy more than 28,000 square feet of ballroom and banquet space and music and pop culture lovers will appreciate the music memorabilia lining its walls. Applauding rock ‘n roll, the hotel will also feature the groundbreaking, interactive amenity ‘The Sound of Your Stay®’, allowing guests to jam with a hands-on music experience. HardRockHotels.com

I've heard about this but i doubt it'll be affordable for most 500 fans... even now a older basic hotel costs me around $400 a night for the 4 days over the 500 weekend i dread to think what the Hard Rock might cost.

And i suspect it'll have the same 3 or 5 night minimum stay over speedweeks :-(

This project has not got planning permission yet and there are residents objecting to the size of the hotel.

Having said that I think it will go ahead but 2016 may prove optimistic.
