Upgrading on Virgin. 65 days to go.

I’m using an iPad. When I log on the pe seats and UC seats are crossed out. When I go to bid for a upgrade it says I’m not eligible on the out bound flight, which is one I was hoping to change.
As I said, it’s just a hope to surprise my hubbie.

Hi that is a shame Maybe you could try your luck and phone them . Fingers crossed they might be able to upgrade

Have you done a search for UC seats on that flight paying cash? Is it showing any available?

Yes done a fake search and there are 5 seats in UC and about 10 seats in PE.
Will give them a call next week as I’m away at the moment and see what they say. We actually go out on 30th Nov, got my count down days wrong!

I'm not sure but isn't there restrictions on upgrading if you've paid with miles?

Hi WB, in 2012, long afore Delta were on the scene, we paid using miles and money, I enquired via phone circa 3 weeks pre-flight, whilst we could've upgraded we opted to do so at check-in, just in case the price reduced [it didn't].

I booked my flights with some air miles and Money . Not a lot of air miles mind you... £54 off each seat. On my booking on their website , I can book for the upgrades .
