Please Please tell me its going to be fine!

Hi Guys,

I'm having a bit of a freak out, due to unforeseen circumstance our spending money is almost non-existent, and with only 26 days to go i don't know what to do, There is 2 adults 2 child (both 9)

We have all tickets and hotel has buffet breakfast, we will not be eating lunch (maybe a portion of fries) and it will just be dinner and drinks.

We will have around $100 a day!

We have never had to worry before and don't have any credit cards!

Thanks for reading

If you are eating offsite and be careful it's possible for your party size to dine for that amount.

But with the energy you expend in a Park and the fact children in my experience are always hungry I think you need to budget for 2 x childrens lunchtime meals. Adults can do without if needs must.

One small suggestion is to use refillable water bottles and to mainly drink free tap water if the children can do that, I know that sodas can be refillable in many places but the cost over two weeks still adds up.

You can cope with the amount of money you have, not easy but it is doable if you are strict with yourselves and are willing to eat just quick service. If you have more left towards the end of holiday you can then go easier. If pushed You can always get a ready cooked chicken and salad bread rolls and eat in your room.
Explain to the children that money is tighter than usual and if they want to go to Disney they can't have everything they want. You will still have a good time on a tighter budget.

I spent $100 a day roughly onsite this year so it can be done.

Could you not apply for a credit card to take as back up for emergencies, you've still got time I think?
