Email them and ask for a refurbished room. They’re in the process of updating all rooms and ours was booked through ba so was a superior refurbished room. If you look on trip advisor some of the classic rooms have not yet been refurbished.
Other than that we found the staff really helpful, room was clean. Hope your daughter enjoys it

Sounds like you had a great time! we visited NYC in November and last year and we loved it, just an incredible place. We would love to go back in a few years and experience it in the warmer months. Some of the things like the ferry over to Liberty and Ellis island were just so cold and it was minus 7 when we were watching the Macy's parade!

Sounds like you had a good time. We went up the crown on our trip well worth it. DH was just talking about a return trip to NY next year.

We have done the trip twice now in August and I would like to experience it in Winter!

We loved walking to the top of the crown too. Even though we went in the summer, we were the only ones at the top too!

My daughter is going with school on Thursday - 4 nights on Times Square, a day in Phildelphia and 2 nights in Washington.

The weather is looking really good and I am very jealous.
