A long way from Devon but I love the Magpie cafe for fish and chips. Haven’t been for a few years probably time we visited again.

Love Whitby. Park up at Sands end and walk the dog along the beach where we can and then into the town. Always try to get Kippers,salmon,pate and bacon from Fortunes and then fish and chips from Trenchers opposite the war memorial. Can be a bit of a trek back though if we get the tide times wrong.

Looks lovely! We are going to Whitby in a couple of weeks, can’t wait to be back.

We are off to Whitby in three weeks, I'm crossing everything the weather stays nice. We are staying the same place as last year, The Belfry is a short distance from the whalebone arch.
Last year I slipped on the cobbles on the slope below the archway and bruised my knees badly ouch! I still made it through the town and up the steps to the micro brewery by the abbey where I had a beer to recover😁
