Alamo SUV Mid-Size Changes?

Have Alamo done a bit of a naughty? When we collected our Intermediate SUV in March we were directed to a row of cars and could pick from a Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Edge, Rav 4 or a Jeep. Seems now they have split these even further to Midsize and Standard with the Santa Fe now in the standard size at £100 more for a couple of weeks.

Seems a bit rich to me having driven most of these before, cant see an awful lot of difference between them to justify that sort of an increase?

I think that class (which is what I tend to book) with Alamo is described as Rav 4 or similar...

...I have to say I have not been disappointed with the choice with Alamo... but have been with Dollar last year...

Dollars offerings tended to be old, tatty and high mileage... and once last year they had none in that class and we had to return the following day.

Yup no issue with the Alamo cars but Intermediate SUV has definitely been replaced, as I see it there is very little difference between a Santa Fe and an Edge...and as I said in March we could pick from either, now its £100 extra for a couple of weeks for the SF!

From what I understood, Int SUV was Midsize SUV, it was just how they worded it and I thought the Santa Fe was always a Standard SUV? Midsize/Ints are Toyota Rav 4, Ford Escape, Chevy Captiva and the smaller Jeeps though Alamo do like to mix up the categories, sometimes cars appear in different rows than what they belong in like we saw a Chrysler 7 seater in the Int SUV line last year.
