WDW 14 days tickets on existing VH booking

Hi,

Given the recent price drop on WDW tickets I was wondering if anyone had successfully got Virgin to price match or remove the tickets from the booking altogether without penalty?

Thanks

FYI all,

Spoken with VH and they have matched the WDW price and reiterated that I can remove the tickets without penalty if needed.

Thanks

So I just spoke to VH and got the completely opposite conversation. Can't change tickets once booked in any way. Very weird

Did your package include the free dining?

You booked free dining thought didn't you? That's different as the offer is based on the room and ticket prices at the time of booking. You can't pick and choose and swap things around otherwise everyone would do it. For people who have not booked free dining, are maybe staying offsite etc and have ordered tickets from VH, there's more flexibility to change them.

lol I'm glad someone knows what I booked! Hadn't considered that!

Mind you the person I spoke with just said that with Virgin Holidays once you had booked tickets you had booked tickets and couldn't change them so assumed that this meant in all circumstances! They hadn't actually gone into my reservation or anything to see if they could change anything Ive prob annoyed them so much with my random questions they have my number flash up on their screen with my info Mind you I think I said I'd booked a Disney package so this might have been why.

Both. Last year, we removed the tickets after VH were unwilling to price match the fantastic price Disney and others were offering (25% off?)
And this year we also price matched ticket prices.
We were offsite.
