Linking Euro booking with Avis Preferred.

Hi, I'm hoping somebody can help me.

We've booked our car through the Irish Avis site (using the H811101 code) so our booking reference is XXXX-XXX-ie-X. I've now joined Avis preferred but through the UK site.

So my questions -
1) How do I link my booking to my preferred account?
2) Has anyone had any problems linking their IE/other Euro booking to their UK preferred account?

If its anything like the Hertz Gold Membership scheme, you cannot link bookings already made to your loyalty account retrospectively if you didnt quote your loyalty account at the point of booking... probably the same with Avis?

Call the AVIS freephone number with your booking reference and your membership number, and they will link the booking.

Just as a follow up - we phoned and they've said they've linked them so we'll find out at the garage at MCO...

I got them to link it via the live chat on the .co.uk website. The booking is now showing on the Avis app on my iPhone.
