gatwick long stay parking?

anyone used this? is it secure? how easy it is to use the shuttle with kids & luggage
last time we used the short stay but I don;t think our new car will meet the height restriction though getting conflicting answers as the main info says one height and the short stay parking info lists another higher one which would be ok?
Don't want to leave the keys so meet & greet is out and looked at parking with the hotel as that better value but during our dates that includes meet & greet

its around 1.9 main info says 1.8 the other says 2.0 which would be ok

We have done long stay parking at gatwivh South. The bus went round quite frequently, I had 3 large cases to put in and he waited as i jumped on and off the bus. Then asked if we were ready!

It was a quick ride on the bus.
It was a bit of a shock waiting for the bus when coming home, cold and wet!

Ah right. Ours is 1.75 but we parked at valet parking and stayed at the Premier Inn North Terminal so wouldn't be suitable as we handed over car keys.

IIRC Long stay does not have a height bar only the multi storey short stay car parks.
