Driving from LV to LA...

We loved the drive from la to Vegas but wouldn't want to do it twice in a day

I think there's an organised trip you can do from Vegas where it takes you to LA and round some of the sights, means you can chill on the bus rather than focusing on driving around these places, finding parking, missing a turn in the centre of LA and adding 40 minutes onto your journey etc. However, I know those trips are very much a personal preference thing.
We did the GC south rim from Vegas 2 weeks ago and it's meant to be a 4h drive, it took over 6 each way due to us seeing interesting things along the way, stopping for food etc, so had we tried to do it in a day it would've resulted in nearly no time at the Canyon.

There are trips, but its a long day and you don't get that much time there.. I had a friend do it and she saw very little.. We see a lot more ourselves in a day when we drive around LA.
