Which sitting for dining .

We can’t decide which time sitting to go for on our Disney cruise. On all of our previous cruises we have had anytime dining. We are leaning toward the early sitting, then we can have the evening free for the shows etc. We are 2 adults.
Which do you choose?

We've always done the early seating for dinner on DCL. We do have a DD so that is partly why, as it suits us better. But, eating first and then seeing the show seems more "normal" to us ... I guess I'm thinking back to the holidays we used to have in the med AI as that's what we used to do then!

We also request the first seating as we like to eat and then see the show. The other way round seems more backwards to us. Also, I think I'd fall asleep in the show if I was not fuelled by food!

Thanks, to us it seems more normal to eat then "go out" for the night.
When we've been on anytime dining we have usually eat at 7ish so it won't be much earlier.

We are two adults. We were given the early sitting and were happy with it. We don’t like going to bed too soon after eating.

Early dining is between 5:45-6:15 (start) depending on what cruise you're on. Most cruises are 5:45 which is some way off your 7pm .. just wanted to let you know.

We always do late dining as it allows us more time to veg by the pool if we're not bothered by the show that evening.
Early dining has more children in it, but if they're all like Claire's daughter you'll be ok!

Joa

Thanks for your replies.
Am I right in thinking that if you are on the later sitting, if you want to watch that evenings show, you have to go to the early performance.

Yes you go to the early show. We have always done late seating even with a DS as its less rush if you have been off the ship on an excursion. We have done quite a few DCL cruises now though so we don't always do all the shows if we have done them before.
