Lost a few ridge tiles, loads of debris all over the garden. That's tomorrows problem.
Keswick on flood alert and had to close the business this morning as staff can't get in.

Wet and windy here in Manchester but not as bad as expected. I’m having a drive to Liverpool shortly so hope it’s ok on the coast.

Drove into Inverness yesterday and it was spitting a little but came out of the theatre at 7.30pm and it was blowing a hooley and chucking it down with rain. By the time we got back to Elgin although it was raining there was hardly any wind and I must be honest I was glad to be back home tucked into bed

Terrible here. There is flooding all down the valley and they still haven’t finished the defence works they were doing from the last time this happened two years ago.

The weather has deteriorated in the last 15 minutes. Our trip to Liverpool has been postponed due to the store we was going to is closing for the day, ( was picking up a wedding dress from Albert Dock area).

I was going to tell you but you were offline, we are getting very strong gusts and I'd hate to drive on the M62 in it.

Just heard a loud crack, big conifer tree in neighbours garden just blew over. Loads of trees here in Cambs getting blown over. A few roads shut. Power cuts too. A Tesco not far from me has stopped trading.

Lots of flooding here. Gusts seem to have dropped a little in the last 10 minutes, before that it was quite scary. Daughter just rang to say the farm she works on is closing for the day as conditions are too dangerous to let the public in. She is staying to sort out all the animals and make sure they are fed and safe and warm then is coming home. I will only settle when she is home safe.
