Mobile Food at Tampa International?

Just looking into food options before our flight home.

TPA seems to have lots to choose from but not having been there before I don’t know how easy it is moving between the different areas.

Anybody know which area the BA flights use?

Is it quick and easy to move between the different airside locations?

Dd and dh love Panda Express and there’s one in airside E but don’t know it’s that’s where our flight will leave from.

BA will most probably use Airside F

they are separate airsides, so to the best of my knowledge you can only enter the one where your flight departs at

have a look at the landside options, once you're checked in and only have security to clear, you can rest and grab a bite, as long as you leave enough time (I'd say 90 minutes) before your flight time to proceed to security (to be on a safer side)

OP We flew out of Tampa with BA last October. The better options food wise we’re definitely BEFORE you go through security. We didn’t know that then so ended up hungry after security. That said we had a fairly good (well by airport standards) freshly cooked pizza from the (very) mini food court place think more like a couple of different food counters in the same area than proper food court.
Next time we’d eat before security.

I also don’t think you can get between the different airside locations, from what I remember there is separate security points for each, then you go on a monorail. There wasn’t much food wise airside.

Last time we ate before going to the airport at the nearby mall

We didn’t find much airside last summer and what we did find was very expensive. We ended up with kids pizzas which were lovely but still more than I hoped to be paying. We will be looking for a different plan this summer.

You could pop into the International Plaza Mall and hit their food court, plenty of options including a Cheesecake Factory. I will be doing this in May on the way home from Orlando, it's just a couple of minutes away from the airport.

We have used BA out of Tampa. Better food choices landside but better choices airside than MCO.

We’ve done internal flights from Tampa a couple of times. Love the airport there. Both times we had a meal in the Skyye Bar and Grille in the Marriott attached to the airport. We did checkin and then had a meal there before doing security. Reasonably priced, good quality American food. It was quiet too, a nice place to chill out.

I’ve always fancied doing this but am conscious that all the luggage is left in the car. Is it ok at this mall?

We found the options definitely better landside at Tampa rather than airside in 2018

Yes, the Mall is quite busy with visible security driving round ( it was the last time I was there). It’s quite a,how do you say it, “stylish “ mall with the upper end of store’s etc.
