chevrolet traverse info required
Wondering if anyone has had one of these from Alamo. Have been looking at some videos and seems it would do me for 4 adults and 2 children (12 &10). Any info as to what luggage you managed to load will be appreciated. Also what class would they most likely to be in.
Thanks in advance.

The Traverse sits in the Standard SUV line. Nice car.
However you have a quandary. What if when the 6 of you arrive there are no vehicles of that seat configuration in that row as it can happen. Just a thought.

Agreed with the above
if you book a standard SUV, you'll basically book a 5 seater, planning on getting the odd 7 seater standing in that line. Traverse is considered Premium Crossover (or so it said on my alamo rental agreement) and we only had one, once by sheer luck as a free upgrade from STD SUV for 6 people, you either need to go for a minivan, or a fullsize SUV (7 seaster) but with 6 people (and I'll count both kids as adults, as they'll require about the same space) you might struggle with luggage even with a 7 seater (the extra row of seat eating into the boot) |

We had one in 2016. Think was a 2-2-3 or 2-2-2 with the middle rows captain seats. Back row never up as had double buggy at the time. Nice car, big without being unwieldy or a problem to park.

That rental is not a recent one. I think it was August 2017
My rental agreement showed : Reserved Category : Standard SUV Driven Category : Premium Crossover Billed Category : Standard SUV (on top of my head) Maybe they don't have a "premium crossover" row at MCO, and automatically park them in the STD SUV row, I don't know about that. I've just not seen a traverse in the STD SUV row ever since that time (doesn't mean there are none though ) Anyway, as OP has 6 in their party, I think booking a STD SUV is a very risky bet Edited at 08:44 AM. |

Thanks to all above, I have booked a full suv, (Andy) but it was just when I was looking at a few videos (you tube) that I saw Traverse and thought it may be worth checking out.
Reason for full size over van was price difference, (£300), for 3 weeks in Oct. Cheers.
