Water parks temperature in Feb (next week)
Anyone have any experience of the waterparks in February, with regard to feeling warm enough?
We've just booked last-minute for next week, and weren't planning on doing any parks. However I've just spied a water parks annual pass looks decent value and as we have another no parks week booked for October half-term and may still visit this Summer, we could get quite a reasonable amount of use out of them. The forecast for next week looks decent enough with highs forecast between 25 and 30 degrees which suggests it should be a nice temperature, at least during the middle of the day into the afternoon, but interested to hear of any first-hand experiences. |

We went to Blizzard Beach in February two years ago, temperatures were particularly high for the time of year at high 20s to 30, so it was great weather for it. I have been before in Feb when the water park closed due to low temperatures, but from what you say the forecast is, it sounds like you will be fine

We were there for two weeks last year from about 29th January. The first week was definitely not warm enough for waterparks, but the second week was.

It's been in the mid 80's for the last couple of days.

I’ve done February half term. In 9 days we had 2 good swimming days (hot). The others I wouldn’t have touched a pool.

The weather is extremely variable this time of year. It is very warm at the moment though and after a slight dip at the weekend, the forecast definitely shows you should be fine.

Posting from Volcano bay. It’s 30 degrees today so no issues at all- much more pleasant than August. It can be a tad nippy in the shade of a queue with a wind blowing but not enough to really annoy us. We were swimming in the hotel pool in the dark last night. Pleasant to sit out a tiny bit cold in the water- nippy when you get out. Friday is predicting 22 and cloudy so I’m not sure we will be swimming then. Pick you day though and it’s lovely.
