Firstly apologies for this update being late. I have now had five cycles of Chemotherapy. After the fourth I did quite well with not too many after effects. Boy, did cycle five make up for that. It’s the worst after effects so far with aching and tiredness. Perhaps I should have taken note at the session when it took over an hour to find a vein to take the needle. Eventually they managed to get in and I had the treatment. This was ten days ago and I still have the bruise which is 5.5x4cm in size.
Still only one more to go, hopefully! With luck the after effects won’t be so bad!

Me too, last one is December 2nd and much as you I have had a worse time than the previous 4. Just a tip for finding your vein...wear gloves on your way to your session keeping your hands as warm as possible..they will give you a heat pad to warm them but it just means you are there longer..

Thanks for updating us as I was wondering how you were getting on.

Sorry to hear you have had a bit of a rough time. I know you will be glad when it’s all behind you. I hope you don’t mind me saying this but it does take a while to get over everything mentally - well it did for me anyway.
