Me too, I will be 50 in January next year (so really I'm not even 49 yet) and my DH is 50 this July. Hoping to go back for 3 weeks again next year and cant wait.

Not 50 but 40 in Sept 21! Wont be spending it in Orlando though... but am hoping for a child free week in Vegas instead!

This is exactly like me! My dd was born aug 2010 so we just had a weekend away in the Cotswolds for my 40s. I am 50 in April 21.

Same here - my DS was born with C-section 2 weeks before I was 40. I was in no form celebrating anything other than counting how much sleep I (didnt) have 😃😃

I’m 50 this year but not until December so 2021 will be any holiday year for celebrating. If we can get a reasonable out of peak season deal me and DH will do an adult only trip, which will be the first one since our honeymoon in 1998! We’d be looking at food and wine in September which would be another first.

I’m 50 in March 21 (gosh did I just say that out loud completely in denial and not ready at all! )

Hoping to be in NYC for my birthday and then have plans to do a mini cruise with lots of friends later in the year

We go to Disney in Oct this year so doubt will go again next year but Not sure where our family holiday will be yet

I believe it’s because we are the ‘baby boomers’ babies. Both my parents born in 1946 after the war. My primary school had to get a mobile classroom for my year as it was the biggest they’d had. (Interestingly they did the same 25 years later, when my DD was born - another baby boom year!)

We had planned a big extended family trip over summer 2021, but at the moment, with Isabel, we just plan week by week. I still hope and pray we’ll make it though 🤞🏻
