Transport from Airport to Hard Rock hotel
Hi there,
I am arriving July 24th and looking for easiest way to get to hard rock universal in a taxi of some sort. Last time we came we used one of those orlando transportation companies and the service was pretty poor. I am not against using Lyft or Uber, but want something easy and without having to wait too long. I have heard that standard airport taxis are very expensive, and not sure how easy it is to find the lyft/uber spot, so would you guys recommend I try a more reputable company? Thanks |

As you say Uber will be the cheapest.
Quicksilver is mentioned on here quite a bit but if you don’t want a transportation type company then I would opt for a Mears cab. Mears have a website and you can enter your trip and see the cost if that helps.

I've been to HRH and RPR using both taxis and Uber/Lyft and would definitely recommend the latter.
In terms of cost it was $65 (plus tip) to HRH using a cab just outside the terminal door. The next time I used Uber and it cost $33 to get to RPR and it was super easy - when you are ready to go you just open the Uber app and it prompts you to set what door you are at (so the driver knows where to find you) then you put in the destination, it gives you a price and you confirm. I think I had a 5 minute wait for the Uber to arrive.
