GoPro Settings?

Hi everyone I am after a bit of quick advice for our trip next week!

I have a GoPro Hero 4, but I have not used it much, and you could say this will be its first real outing!

What settings would you all recommend for general use in the parks for parades, rides etc.?

I really want one setting for the trip and leave it like that if possible?

I will be using it in a Gimbal if that helps

TIA everyone

In the past i have found running video at 720p and 50fps provided me with the required video quality, battery usage and storage, though was running 1080p for some of the more faster roller-coaster rides with similar fps. It all depends on how you want to manage the data and use it in the future.

In all honestly, you would be best to take a read of the Go pro forums online if you are wanting to make more pro style videos.

I will only be doing some very basic editing so simple settings are all good!

I agree with RickT, hope on some specific forums, you’ll be amazed at what you can learn. Or give YouTube a bash, that’s what is did and I’ve not changed the settings since.
