Oh how I loved the 80’s!
Ah ah, soft cell, OMD, Janet Jackson, 5 star, Duran Duran, nick kershaw, Madonna, Micheal Jackson’s off the wall album.
Too many to mention to be honest. I also loved my big hair and tiny dresses 😂😂

I recently had a party for my 50th Birthday and one record that I have fell in love with again was Bardot - One step further (Eurovision UK entry) . Got the DJ to play it before anyone got there and danced on my own. A couple of friends that were helping me thought I was mad

Anyone remember it ?

Yes! I remember it! A fellow dibber posted about Pink Sunshine by Fuzzbox on Instagram the other day, remember that?! And Debbie Gibson, Electric Youth?!

I was a massive Duranie, had to turn the radio off if Spandau Ballet came on! The around ‘85 my posters were replaced with Madonna ones and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. NKOTB spent some time up on my wall too. My and my cousin used to argue with our uncle, convinced they’d be around forever, and were the next Beatles

Another one off, Strawberry Switchblade, Since Yesterday, great tune! And what about Tracey Ullman? Loved her songs. Deep Sea Skiving by Bananarama was firmly wedged in my cassette player. Oh the memories!

Best ever era for music. Too many favourites to list. Will dig out my old singles and albums tomorrow and take a trip down memory lane😁.

I was a massive A-ha fan. And a bit of Wham! and Madonna.

Anyone else taped “Mixed tapes” off the radio?

Another who grew up with 80s music! Can't beat it!

Love all of those mentioned and loved among many more Johnny Hates Jazz, Prefab Sprout, Level 42, George Benson!

I usually have Absolute 80s as my go to DAB station in my car too.
