I had this down as one of our must do so for next year as we've not seen it on either of our previous trips. This thread is making me rethink.

we saw this in december, we have kids ranging from 5-15 and we all enjoyed it. Yes its a bit cheesy but the up characters were fun and the birds did some really good fly overs. Plus we had a great chat with one of the cast members after and got some brilliant pics with a bald eagle.

Completely agree we thought it was absolutely shocking. Lots of chickens running about on stage! It was an uncomfortable watch and as previous poster said have never seen so many people get up and leave midway.

Compared with F&F though, I love F o W!
Unpopular opinion we went on F&F last year and actually quite enjoyed it.

My daughter and I enjoyed it too. Not the best ride but certainly not the worst.

I agree, I quite liked the previous version before it changed to include UP. What a shame.

Carousel of progress is worst for us
My dad fell asleep on it and snores like an ogre!

Now a ride where you can have a rest is sometimes a big plus, just to catch 40 winks and rest your feet

I viewed FoW in its original guise in 2011. I don't remember having any negative opinions about it. On both subsequent occasions we visited I've missed it as the showtimes are fairly irregular, and felt like I was missing out, perhaps I shouldn't be? I dunno, it's a cliche now but F&F was the only attraction I was genuinely disappointed by on the whole trip (despite already knowing what to expect and having low expectations!)

Apart from the Up characters being shoe-horned in, is there any reduction in the bird performances from the original show?
