Discovery cove Buoy

My niece had a dolphin give her a buoy but know we are wondering what’s the safest way to get it home? As hand luggage or in the suitcase? Do we have to somehow deflate it? If so how and will we be able to reinflate it when we get home?

We have brought these back on two separate occasions. I just put them in my hand luggage as they were and they were fine - they’re still inflated now and the last one was 2011!

I packed mine in case in 2004and it’s still inflated now

It doesn't matter whether it is in the hold or hand luggage. They will be fine in either. We just packed ours inflated in the suitcase. No issues whatsoever.

Same as the other replies, mine went in the suitcase with no problems and is still inflated now 5 years on!

They offered to deflate it for us while we were there so we took advantage of that to save packing space later. Just reinflated it when we got home with a bicycle pump and still fine 2 years later.

Sorry to hijack - I’ve not heard of this before, could someone give me some information on what happens and how to book? It sounds like something my daughter would enjoy- she’s a little obsessed with dolphins at the moment

You can upgrade your dolphin swim with a celebration package which then includes a dolphin bringing a personalised buoy to you at the end of your swim. My DS loved it when we did it, he was 9 at the time. We upgraded to the elite package that included the cabana hire as it also included the photos and video pack. As all 3 of us did the dolphin swim we would have been paying for the pics and video etc anyway so there wasn’t much in it pricewise at the time.
