I’m up at 5.30am showered, make up and hair done, walk the dog at 6.15, unstack the dishwasher and then have breakfast, get changed into work clothes and head out for 7.45 to get to work for 8 and work through til 2pm. Then head home, walk and feed the dog and then at 2.50pm head out to get the grandson from nursery, come in and put the evening meal on and when my son or husband come in at around 4pm, take the fog out for his last walk and feed. We then sit down to eat, quickly tidy things away and at 6.45pm take the baby round to my daughters to settle him down for the night, she comes in between 9-10pm and I head off home. I do this 3 days a week and two days I have him to 4pm. I thought in my 50’s life would slow down but in fact it’s sped up, I only reduced my hours from 9-5 in September as it was all getting a bit much. No lockdown for any of us, so I don’t know any different.

Walking, job hunting, trying to plan for our future and a lot of stressing. I’d done so well at not stressing but these last couple of days have got to me and tonight I’ve finally had my first cry of 2021.

It’s good to have a good cry now and again, and from what I’ve read you have every reason to. Try and get some rest, tomorrow’s a new day 💜

Thank you for your kind words. Luckily just a little cry, onwards and upwards tomorrow!
