We loved Sweet Tomatoes, it’s the only buffet I would eat! Absolutely gutted they’re closing. Apparently it’s to do with safely providing food etc, in which case Golden Corral should also close.

Personally I loathe buffets. Firstly I don't like seeing children around food and secondly I lose self control.
I think so, the end of buffet restaurants for a long time I think, if a bug goes around a cruise ship the self serve ice cream machine is the first to be turned off, followed by buffets.

I had friends on a cruise when Covid hit, the buffets were closed that day and remained shut.

I think it’s going to be that way until a vaccine has eradicated this, maybe even for longer.

Not really a fan of buffets, too many people digging around! I suppose a lot will go the way of ‘family style’ platters like at Garden Grill etc maybe? At least your only digging in with your own crowd!

Loved Sweet Toms at the Crossroads, washed down by a round of crazy golf

Ah, such a shame. Loved the variety of fresh salad and not a french fry in sight! Was always a must do for us.

So sad. Feel sorry for the staff as they were always great.

Really gutted by this news! It was a firm favourite with us, a bit of a break from the usual American fayre.

Mick - at least I got my mum in there, even if was only once (I think it was only once).
