Our favourites are hard rock, for all the reasons others have stated

Tasty burgers

And brilliant cocktails

Also, we love Cowfish, something for those who are more adventurous with the sushi

Burgers for the less adventurous

And once again great cocktails

Plus our kids love the shakes they do

Final choice would be Margaritaville, but we haven't been there since 2017, so not a recent trip, but we would love to go back for the nachos and of course the cocktails!

We've never bothered booking restaurants on citywalk and rarely waited longer than 20 minutes. Hard Rock was our longest wait, but it was raining and everyone had the same idea as us. It was much nicer sitting in their lounge drinking cocktails waiting for the buzzer to go off than waiting it out in the front of the restaurant with everyone else.

Also, if you have a Landry Card then you can use it at Bubba Bumps and get a table straight away. I'm not a big fan of battered fish, but kids and DH liked it.

You just need to show your room key to get priority seating at a number of restaurants at city walk if you are staying in one of the three premier universal hotels ( although this was pre/covid so not sure at the moment if this is still the case)

I would be interested to know too. I have spent in total over twenty nights at a Universal premier hotel and I am convinced this is a myth. I cannot imagine how I could barge past everyone in a queue waving my room key and demanding to be seated first. Last time I checked into a Universal hotel, I decided to ask about this dining priority thing and I was looked at like I had grown an extra head by three check in staff, so they presumably had not heard of it either.
