Where do you stow your refuse and recycling bins?

Does anyone have any suggestions where, and how, I can tidily stow my refuse and recycling bins?

Any suggestions?

Ours are outside our back door, cardboard/glass and the big dustbin. The food waste and 'plastic' recycling bag are kept in the garage, (a metre away) purely from heat in the summer and less smelly.

Works well for us as we have a leanto roof between the house and garage so everything is kept dry.
The big green garden waste bin is in back garden behind garage.

I've seen the 'plastics' recycling bags hung on brackets above the other bins to save space. Also seen Wooden Bin Store frames to contain everything too.

We have a bin cupboard outside the front door which holds 1 bin... we have 3 in total so the other 2 are just by the back gate, some of our neighbours have a wooden cupboard for them which looks nice but takes up a lot of space.

Anyone have the purpose built wooden frames?

Where is best to get them?

Mine are down the side of the house by the garage. We have 3 namely Garden, Waste and a little Food Caddy. The green recycling bags I keep in the garage as they tend to get ripped by Foxes otherwise.

What about something like this? Keter makes good gear.

Down the side of the house. We have a gate from the front and they are off to the left behind it. Directly behind the gate is a path around the house which is bordered by a hedge. The hedge stops short where the bins are.

Did have two of those Tom. Kids inherited them for their homes. Daughters sadly lost in a fire last summer. I think wooden bespoke is what I’m leaning towards

We had a double wooden one sitting on a concrete base. It needed staining each year and lasted about 10 years before it had to be binned and the wood was rotting at the back.

We’ve now got a keter one. So much better and no maintenance.

We have this for recycling, down the side of the house, bespoke made by a local chippy to fit our local boxes/bags/caddy. Wheely bin goes beside it.

I also recommend the Keter. We have the Store It Out XL. Worth remembering that, as well as being maintenance free, they are waterproof and so keep the recycling dry.
