Ours was one of them. We purchased 180 points resale for $87 pp. So happy with that as a purchase.

Had 41 2019 points which we rented privately.

We would never have purchased at that price. We paid £8000 for our points. Although we’ve paid much more than that in dues since. Something that often gets overlooked.

Yes and when you add the BCV dues of $7.06 per point to the $245 purchase cost for over the remaining 21-years, each point averages $18.72 ($11.66 + $7.06) per year.

And if by 2042 the dues are around $12.00 per point then the average cost could be closer to $21 per year.

You have to wonder what colour the sky is in the "Disney" World, those price increases coupled with recent changes make me wonder if they are based in an alternate reality! Not sure who is going to be buying these? With most of the "Perks" of an onsite stay removed, there is much better value offsite & if you were to do the "break even" sums with say a Universal stay you won't even be close! Enough points for a 2 week stay every year is approx £40kthat's a lot of holidays!
When you factor in the costs that most people don't consider, flights, park tickets etc on top of those buy in prices, personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!
$67.50 was a bargain (SSR) but we are still £900/year in dues & on a 3 week stay we probably aren't getting a lot of change out of £6k all in.

We paid $75 for SSR in 2014. I think the exchange rate was about $1.68 so glad we did it when we did.
