Gatwick South... Which Lounge?

I know this has been asked a thousand times but we have never really thought about a lounge until DW mentioned it this evening. Just wondering what your thoughts are which ones are better than others and are they worth the expense?

we used the mylounge - it has a terrace so ifu have smokers in your party they can go outside and smoke, free wifi and charging spaces, family room, free mags and papers, food, drinks and cocktails.

TBH it wasn't my fave but it was cheap (offer on it cost like £16 per person) and it meant the smoker in our party wasnt stressed!

You don't have to be flying with virgin to use it, just a member of the flying club, which is free to join.

You also get premium security free in the price.

We went to the my lounge last trip. It was cheapest. £15 each, but some snack type foods, not a full meal, and free drinks. We found it more relaxed / comfy than sitting in the main airport. And I'm sure we ate/drank more than the £15.

I think next time though we would try the no1 lounge in the hope there is a bit more varied food included.

The No.1 Lounge is quite nice. Lovely view, good food. Drinks are included if you wish it. You can usually get a discount by signing up to mygatwick or holiday extras or keep an eye on moneysavingexpert.
