We haven't got one but we do hire one 1/2 times a year. We did look into getting our own but we think it would be a lot of hard work. And we are worried the novelty would wear off. And it would sit there unused, So we do long weekends costs £200 but we get £50 back after collection.

We just got one, about 4 weeks ago - wish we hadn't now it is a nightmare trying to get the water balance right, its been cloudy, green, foamy - you name it - it is now clear but feels oily and I dont want to get in it!
Very disappointed.

I think they cost a lot to run, electric and chemicals, we have an indoor pool and I think its cheaper to run that than a hot tub when DH worked it out.

We are working towards a built in one. For two seasons now we have had an inflatable one - the Lay -Z Vegas and I wouldn't be without it. Love luxuriating in the hot water and soaking away the aches. Keeping the water in check shouldn't be difficult. It's all about getting the chlorine levels right and you have dip sticks that help with that. Cloudy water suggest filters aren't working correctly.

Practice makes perfect! It took us a while to get the hang of it but soon got there. We've recently got a frog system so it's mainly automatic. A bit more expensive but hassle free.

We love our hot tub and use it all the time.

Yes, we have had one for ten years. Absolutely love it . You do need to look after it but it's so nice come rain, shine or snow to have a little bit of me time in there with a glass or two and just chill out.
