Booked with KLM, flying Virgin

I’ve just used the virgin text service
Baggage is not included on my booking although it states Economy Classic -
I’m going to add 2 cases out and in and fit as much as we can in hand luggage.
In a villa so don’t need to take to much anyway

Thanks for this will be looking for flights for next October in only a couple of months. Can you still earn Flying club mile if you book with one of Virgin’s partners?

Just asked via text chat and yes you do earn the miles

Our flights were Air France with a code share with KLM & Delta. On the outward leg we were told to check in via KLM website, luggage was free but we had to pay to book seats (£9 each I think). We were then advised to log onto the Delta site to prebook our seats, the seats were free of charge as was the luggage.

On the return leg we had to check in on Delta website - Luggage and seat selection free of charge, KLM portion again we had to go onto KLM website and pay for seats but luggage was free.

Hope this makes sense
