Can anyone give me a rough ideal on what is a good price for say 8 nights at Atlantis Palm, half board. We were looking at going in January but prices that are coming up are horrendous...

This destination is totally out of our comfort zone lol... we arrived and departed Dubai on a cruise last January and thought to stay a bit longer but not at the prices I've been finding.

Thank you

Same here loopylaura, I’ve looked on numerous occasions and find it really expensive- much more than Florida. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong or if my idea of reasonable is very different to everyone else’s 😄
For example it’s coming up at £14,008 for a week next April for 4 of us. That’s half board but still!
I appreciate its Easter and everywhere is a bit more expensive but not anywhere close to that expensive!

The cheapest time to go is summer because it’s so hot - it can be expensive at other times

Any idea if things to do, which won’t cost an arm and a leg? We’ve pencilled in motionland and the Avengers theme park thing, but it’s supposed to be a cheap one so don’t want to spend too much!
Be prepared, apart from taxis there is nothing that is cheap in Dubai in my experience! It’s one of the most expensive places I’ve been, although I would most definitely go back again!

Thanks! To be honest it’s part of the reason we booked AI. Think we will do motionland and burj khalifa and that might be about it...

Just read this thread again.
I am so looking forward to going to Atlantis in May again.
Like most people on the Dibb I love Florida and Disney cruises
But Dubai just offers something a little bit different for a change.
And if you get a deal with Emirates and a hotel it can be even cheaper.

Totally agree - I really wanted to go back to the Atlantis next year but cost was so expensive . I watched for months and saw it had came down £1000. Jumped on it and booked ten nights imperial club half board.
I just prices it again ( just for nosiness) and the holiday I booked has gone up £1300 so I’m happy
