I fell asleep almost immediately after posting that.
Personally I found both businesses boring.
I’m completely with Claude on the bakery. It’s not particularly scalable if you’re using family run as your focus.
The head hunting was dull and I’m sure we discovered she’d never recruited at the level she was targeting. Neither really expressed what they’d use the investment for or if it was even sufficient. I know this is isn’t Dragons Den but they usually touch on that.

Carina said she'd immediately look to open a second shop with the money, and invest in vans to transport the goods from the kitchen in the first.

When she gets more shops she'll either need kitchen hubs to do the baking, or have each shop bake on-site.

It's almost my neck of the woods so maybe one day one will open near me. I'd definitely visit it - Carina was a great contestent and deserving to win. Scarlett was also good, but recruitment has been done to death.

One presented far better than the other but then had such a horrible advert it balanced out.
Lottie was like the unpopular kid at school getting left til last in the team choosing. Usually it’d be one one the earliest to leave candidates. That was cringe making. She did try to be supportive and her attitude was better but the basic idea for the ad was awful (not her fault it was the finalist’s bad concept)

I think the bakery was the more appealing prospect to Lord Sugar, especially as he has two recruitment companies from previous series. However I feel Scarlett’s pitch was much better, but her advert was terrible. It was so cheap looking and tacky. Worryingly it was totally her idea too. I think the right candidate won.

I do too.
I thought it was odd Scarlett complained the ad was cheesy when they had done exactly what she asked . In a real car it might have worked much better .

Think the right candidate won & I know I'm in the minority but thought the prison ad was pretty good

I’ve seen much more criticism of Scarlett’s ad, IMO the prison ad was much better...

Scarlett’s looked like a bit of improv in a drama class, the prison advert actually looked like an advert, had a storyline and even a punchline. There was no comparison.

both pretty dull ideas imo...

both been done before & hardly innovative stuff

a small chain of bakers... hardly going to tear up any trees

Sorry worded it wrong I know Scarlett's was rotten but there's been a bit of criticism about the prison ad too but I thought it was good
