We stayed in Hotel Paseo de Gracia. Location is amazing, smack bang in the centre, with metro 100m away. We had a family room that had a double bed and then sliding doors to a room with 2 singles. Air con, spotlessly clean, good WiFi. Breakfast was basic continental but was fine for us and they have cute tables to eat on the balcony. If i remember, it is only a 1 or 2 star because there isn't a bar, pool etc but we couldn't have got anything better for our city break

Thanks. This one is just outside our budget, but I’m thinking I need to increase it!

This one looks good. However, the website won’t let me go any further than 31/12/19! Will have to keep an eye on it.

Found it on another site, but this one is definitely out of budget. Thanks anyway.

Are you sure? I know there's the 4*Passeig de Gracia which was out of our league too but Hotel Paseo de Gracia is apparently only 1*, no idea why, and was only about €100 per room for the 4 of us

Just had a look on their website for early April, it's €145 a night for a family room with brekkie free for the first day. We booked direct on their website and they couldn't be more helpful

No idea which one I looked at! Just booked this one for the bargain price of €441 including breakfast on our first morning. Thank you for your recommendation & help.

Oh I'm pleased you booked it, was worried that their prices had shot up and we wouldn't be going back! I hope you have a great time. We went with our 17 and 15yr old lads and we loved Barcelona and the hotel was nice to come back to 👍
