Train to Gatwick airport - nearest hotels?

Hi

I'm trying to weigh up the most accessible hotels from the train station at Gatwick airport - in particular those with transport to the terminal if possible.

I will be travelling with wife and 7 year old boy by train to Gatwick airport so i'm hoping there is something in walking distance.

Thanks
Mike.

The Hilton is also easily accessible from the train station and terminal. It’s been a few years since we stayed there but as I recall it adjoins the airport, just a short walk. Rooms are nice, it is however a bit more expensive then the other hotels in the area.

Premier Inn Gatwick North. Cross the road and you’re there.

Not sure where the station is personally but the Hilton is actually attached to the south terminal. If you shop at Tesco you can get it "free" using Deals.

Cheapest paying real money for us is the Premier Inn just over the road from North Terminal. Sofitel attached to north terminal but a tad pricey.

Both terminals connected by a couple of minutes on the APM

Hi Mick, we are getting the train into Gatwick and staying in the north terminal premier Inn, you can get off the train and onto the shuttle that connects the two terminals. Well that's the plan for us anyway

Hilton, Bloc, Sofitel, Hampton are all in the terminals and PI North is right outside.

Best value is the PI

Indeed - as we always drive I just didn't know where the station is. We regularly stay at the Hilton south and fly from the north or stay at the PI north and fly from south.

Depends if we have enough Tesco Deals for the Hilton. If we don't it's always the PI

Hello

We have stayed premier inn north (literally out airport cross the crossing) and restaurant and costa cafe

Hampton by Hilton attached to airport

Both lovely

The bloc gets good reviews

We normally get cheapest on offer of these

If stay at north but flight from south it’s just few minutes monorail
