Mobile Gdansk Christmas

Anyone been to Gdansk in December, thinking of going for a couple of nights in December for Xmas markets etc but not sure what else to do?

Yes, we went a few years ago between Christmas and New Year. Krakow is our normal haunt.

To be honest I wouldn’t go back in the winter but would try in the summer. There’s not much to do whereas Krakow has a lot to offer.

It's a very beautiful city. We went in a frosty February and spent time at solidarnosc and in the many microbreweries as well as generally walking around seeing the sights. There was also a small ice rink

Thanks, I’m so undecided, it’s only for a couple of days so I’m sure we’ll find plenty and it beats being at home, I do fancy krakow but the flights are expensive and I think I’d rather visit there in the spring/summer when the weather is nicer. This is just a last minute cheapy x
