Alamo skip the counter

Hi,
Ive just successfully got the skip the counter page sorted.
Ive had no email but ive got the barcode and printed it off.
We dont go for 54 days either.

Hopefully this will be ok to go straight to the garage as well.
Ive never done this before so its a bit dawnting.
Do you just go down there and someone will point you where to go etc ?

You'll be fine to go straight to the garage with your STC barcode.

Just head to the garage, show someone your paperwork and they'll direct you to your row.

Just an update on Alamo...

I arrived yesterday and the system is still as good as ever.

Arrived at the garage, they sent me to my row, good selection of vehicles. Was in and out in 10 minutes.

I did hear someone discussing with a member of staff about not completing the full STC procedure and having the correct STC paperwork but they let them off this time. Something to think about still for those heading to the garage having only completed OLCI.

Well worth picking Alamo and doing STC.

That's a very good call.
Ive done all that I think they ask, although there are still a few bits that are blank on the print out.
Theres also the part that says the credit card used has expired...which it hasn't.
I think this was a glitch... will this still be ok?

My entire STC print out was blank apart from my name. As long as you have the barcode it should be fine. I took a copy of my original booking as well because the STC didn't show any details of what car class I had booked. A member of staff asked me after looking over my paperwork and she trusted me this time but I'd take a print out of your original booking to be safe.

Your credit card will be fine, I'm pretty sure that you can use any card as long as it has the lead drivers name on it.

Evening all.
Departing tomorrow into MCO and have completed OLCI but not STC as it wasn't offered and booked third party. There is a barcode on the top of my confirmation, most other details being blank. Did I read on here I can still just STC and head straight to the garage where they'll take my licence and credit card?

When you go to the Alamo garage are the keys already in the vehicles?

Also, do you check various cars to see the spec and even turn on to see if they have active sat nav?

TIA

I don't think that the keys are in the Premium/Luxury rows but they were in the full size row in February. So yes you can check what gizmos it has and mileage etc. but I've never seen built in sat nav in any option we've had but we only ever go for intermediate/full size as there's only the two of use.
