Saving $ by upgrading to Disney annual pass whilst there?

We enquired last month in 4 different places how much it would be to upgrade our 14 day ultimate tickets to annual passes and got the same price everywhere which was a few cents short of $490

We upgraded our 21 day ultimate tickets last November and the price was $247 at MK guest relations. I would think that for this year the price would be around $260.

Can I ask what you upgraded to for 247 please ?

It was just the Platinum annual pass we upgraded to as don't do the water parks.

Bear in mind that pass holders can only book 7 day’s worth of fast passes at any one time.

May or may not be important to you.

We upgraded last year and used the tickets this year. We definitely saved more than they cost in parking and shopping and meal discounts. We did a fair few character meals and the 10-20% off added up!

If you stay on site though you can book fast passes for the entire duration But yes this is something to keep in mind if staying off site with an AP!
