Tickets and MDE

Hello all

This is my first post so I want to start by saying thank you so much to all the people that contribute. I have been reading this forum for over 5 months and its been crucial to my planning!

...I have a problem. I managed to link my reservation to MDE a while back. I have 1 week at a Disney resort (28th sep - 5th oct) and a 14 Day ticket (14 for 7 TKT). MDE is saying my tickets are only valid until 5th oct, even though they are 14 day. I reached my 60 Fastpass+ window on Monday and was able to book a weeks worth, yesterday and today's rolling window has not opened.

I'm assuming Disney have made a mistake because I'm doing a split stay On/Off site. Or am i missing something?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Welcome to the DIBB!

The bit where it says that your tickets are only valid until 5th October is a bit misleading. It doesn't mean that your tickets will be invalid after that date. It means that you have to start to use your tickets by the 5th October. The tickets will then expire 14 days after you start using them (i.e. to enter a park).

As for booking fastpasses, 60 days before your check-in date you book fastpasses for your length of stay at the Disney hotel. So, on Monday you will have been able to book fastpasses for 28th Sep - 5th Oct (or before). That covers 60 to 68 days ahead.

You will then have to wait until 60 days before the 6th October before you can book fastpasses for the 6th Oct. And 60 days before 6th Oct is 7th August. So you will have to wait until next Tuesday before you can book 6th October. And then on Wednesday you'll be able to book for 7th October. And so on.

Hope that makes sense?
