We used car on the drive last year and will again next year, my husband says he would be fine to drive from the airport but for me knowing that cotd will be waiting when we have 4 kids in tow (one of which has complex needs) the premium is worth it.

Thank you,
Finally made a decision and have decided on an Uber from the airport and are collecting the car the following day from the Disney Car Center. We are only there for a week and got a RAV4 for £174 which I did not think was too bad considering how close we are. |

Lyft XL was about $50 from the airport to give you a comparison so even with a Lyft from your villa to a supermarket and back plus to the car centre next day total would be $80ish. Less with Lyft codes.

We do this every time. Regardless of having a drink or not, or the number of times we have driven in the area including too and from the airport, I honestly can't be bothered with collecting a car when I land.
Uber is usually a 5-10 minute wait. Last Uber to our villa was $38. We then pick up the following morning. Uber usually $10. Have picked up from Park Inn, Budget at Old Town and Disney Car Care. As claireyfairy has said, choices aren't always great but we have only headed back to the airport once in 10 times to change the car. We then drop off at the airport. Each to their own though!
