Only on mvmcp and mnsshp . You can see why there is no parade when you actually go as the crowds for the HEA fireworks are unbelievable . They wouldn’t be able to clear the streets in time for both hence the reason for no night time parade at present .

Is that really the reason? I don't remember ever viewing wishes with less crowds than they have now for HEA and they managed to fit 2 parades in on some evenings.

The nighttime parade is a huge loss to MK.

Judging by crowds levels over the last two weeks I would suspect the cms are telling the truth ( that’s what the6 explained to us and why the parade in the afternoon was moved to earlier ) People start to wait at ridiculous times before the fireworks so I can see logistically yes it would be a nightmare to organise. We didn’t have 1 night without huge crowds . They have to restrict walkways now for the fireworks so probably even more so If a parade as well.

When did Disney say that was the reason for no parade at the moment? They used to run night time parades with Wishes; and the previous night time parade (ended 2016) stopped long before HEA (May 2017). How are they related?

That's not the actual reason though. The average number of people watching the MK fireworks now is not significantly different to the average number one year ago (i.e. before HEA). More importantly Disney stopped the Electrical parade 7 months before HEA even started.

So clearly removing the parade has nothing to do with the HEA crowds. They've managed to put a parade on previously.

Disney originally stopped the electrical parade at WDW in order to move it over to Disneyland for a while. It is assumed that they haven't replaced it with anything else due to cost considerations (I suspect removing the electrical parade has had little to no effect on attendance numbers at MK and therefore why bother spending money to replace it if the same number of people are still visiting MK).

The crowds leaving MK after the fireworks have always been horrendous. It's not like it's a new thing since HEA. If anything, for the last year Disney has put the projection show (Once Upon a Time) after the firework show in an effort to stop a few people from leaving MK straight after the fireworks...

...and perhaps it helps a little.

As far as I remember, Once Upon a Time has been around 45 minutes after the firework show since it started.

Ok everyone don’t shoot the messenger , only passing on what we were told by a cast member, of course Disney aren’t going to admit cutbacks or cost savings to anyone . You only have to visit to see that is apparent everywhere you go within Disney .

No shootings here. Often CMs come out with all sorts of stuff which proves to be nonsense at the end of the day. Only the top notch bods know exactly what is going on.

As Geoff says, no shootings here.

We're merely trying to point out that the CM was being a little economical with the truth and that it is clear that HEA crowds are not the reason (or, at least, not the primary reason) that there's no electrical parade. For many years in the past, Disney has managed to do a parade and firework show at Christmas time when the park is at capacity, so they are able to cope with the crowds.

It's a real shame that there isn't a nighttime parade. It looks like projection shows are Disney's choice of night time entertainment at the moment (probably because they are cheaper in the long term). Projection shows are nice but I don't think they are as good as an electrical parade.
