Price for Virgin PE
What sort of price have people paid for Virgin PE for August. I have found a deal for £1250 pp, is this a good deal?
Not sure whether to wait and see if there are any sales around Christmas or whether to take the plunge. Thanks

That sounds about right for peak school holiday times in August.

I've never paid that much for PE - always under £1k each. But I'm quite a hunter for deals...
Being flexible on dates is key - leaving on Tuesdays often is cheapest. Last year I paid just under £800 each for PE each way - which was booked via Delta (on Virgin flights) but was LGW>MCO and MIA>LHR which had its own challenges! But we really enjoyed heading down to Miami for the 'Glades etc.

I wouldn't say PE is worth 1250 a person (our company negotiated UC fare to MCO is generally less than that) but for a public fare in summer holidays it seems to be about what they charge nowadays
You will if you chance it probably see them cheaper, but equally they may seem out of PE seats so depends how much PE travel is a deal breaker In summary - you aren't being ripped off but you definitely aren't getting the deal of the decade either |

I've been quoted £500pp for October next year but it's out of out budget as it's 4 adults & that's £2,000 on top of the £3,500 I've already paid.

I can't speak for August as I never travel in summer but the cash price (I used miles) on my April tickets was £750. So £500 extra PP sounds a lot even for peak, but I'd trust Tom's guidance on it since he follows year round prices a lot more than I do.

We paid £832 for our PE VA flights this August just gone. Booked November 16. Never seen anywhere near that yet for next August.

That seems very expensive for PE. I would be looking UC for that - we have had UC for £1200 both last summer and this summer.
