Hollywood Studios Temporary Bus Station
Hi All
Just in case you aren’t aware Hollywood Studios now has a temporary bus stand while they complete work on a new one. It adds a good 5-10mins walk from the bus to the entrance now so worth factoring in to your journey time if you’re cutting it fine to make a fast pass. It was quite funny last night as we sat on a bus for 20 minutes waiting for the driver handover and when the new driver turned up he apologised as he’d been waiting at the old stop 😀 Read more here wdwmagic/attractions...load-zones.htm

I was just reading about someone's experience of this on another forum.
Sounds awful, longer walk and no shade/shelter? So must be awful waiting for a bus in the blazing sun or rain. Hope they hurry with the new bus loop they're building 😬 |

Me again 😊
I don't know how many people have seen this, but these temporary bus stops are supposedly there for at least 6 months. There is no shelter from the sun or rain - all are open air. Another forum I was reading have recommended having a umbrella, drink & sun hat with you when walking to the bus/ waiting for the bus. There is a cooling bus parked up at the bus stops and you can sit on there to wait for your bus and the driver will inform you if your bus comes. Only thing is you'll be at the back of the queue for the bus. Just good to know if you're going to HS, especially in the current heat and humidity and when it's raining. 😊 |

Excited about Disney

We really struggled with this today. We had done 10,000 steps before 10am not including the return to the bus. It is very very hot walking to the stops and waiting at them.
I seem to remember HS being the one park that isn't as hard on your feet but today was. On the plus side, we arrived at 7am for EMH and did all of TS land plus ToT, RnR and Star Tours by 10am, crowds were very light! It was also (up until the walk back to the bus station) manageable heat wise.
